Holistic Poetry & the Imagination: Putting Heart, Mind, Body and Spirit into Your Work
A poetry that doesn't use the best of us can feel only half-alive. By using the imagination as a measurement of engagement, it's possible to immerse oneself in the language, the metaphors and the themes with equal abandon. Through a series of exercises and sense-enhancing techniques, the workshop will pursue the idea that the poem completes itself in you and vice versa. Learn how to get intimate with your own writing, how to take the risksessential for turning the poem into an act of discovery, and how to make the way you write be the way you live as well.
